Robert L. Delsman served as Vice President of Network Real Estate for Crown Castle USA Inc. after its acquisition of NextG Networks, Inc. in April, 2012, and before that as General Counsel & Vice President of Network Real Estate for NextG Networks from its inception as a startup in 2002. Since leaving Crown Castle in 2013 Mr. Delsman has maintained an active California based legal practice serving various clients in real estate and corporate matters with an emphasis on the representation of various Japanese clients. At NextG Networks Mr. Delsman had responsibility for all legal and regulatory affairs, including a substantial litigation practice, government relations, and acquisition of regulated access rights across the United States under various forms of franchises and agreements with municipalities and investor owned utilities. From June, 1996, to February, 2001, Mr. Delsman was Senior Director of Government Relations and Network Real Estate for Metricom, Inc. during the nationwide deployment of its Ricochet wireless data network. From 1989 to 1995 Mr. Delsman practiced real estate law at Lillick & Charles in San Francisco and at Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May in Oakland. Mr. Delsman received his B.A. in Classics and Philosophy from Gonzaga University, his M.A. Oxon. in Literae Humaniores from Oxford University, and his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law (University of California). Mr. Delsman currently resides inPriest Lake, Idaho.
